"Sir Roy's in Walmer is a lovely place, however I wouldn't rate it a four star guest house. The staff were lovely and welcoming but the place itself is very old. They still use separate hot and cold water faucets which resulted in scalding on a few occasions. There was no bath in our room, which is challenging when you have babies. Another place we stayed at before this one was about R50 more expensive but was a lot more modern and well-kept. It was a comfortable stay and the breakfast was fine, but again not 4 star so if you're looking for 4 star, perhaps this isn't the right place."
