"We stayed for four nights in December 2018. What a gem!
1. The dogs- oh my word! It is the first time that we visit a venue with dogs that immediately take you on as their responsibility. They walked us to the beach and the Jack Russel took it upon him to babysit me wherever I went. The Basset followed my husband everywhere, and when we went for a long, long beach walk, four of them were following us, playing in the pools and just being silly. Being dog lovers, this was definitely a bonus!
2. The hosts- oh my word again! They found the balance between leaving us to have privacy on the one hand, and on the other hand, to make sure that we feel welcome. Although self catering accommodation, we were treated on freshly made vetkoekies every day. They also invited us to dinner on the last night treating us with their lovely hospitality, good music, and the the bonus: oysters!
If you need to wind down after a long and stressful year, and if you love isolation and peacefulness, this place is 110% the place for you!"
