We only stayed two nights, but you could easily stay a lot longer, because of the fully equipped kitchen and a big living/dining room. They make the beds and bathroom every day, but they don't do your dishes.

After pulling through the gate and being greeted and shown around by Julie, we soon realised that we were exactly where we wanted to be in terms of location, convenience, service, style and friendliness.

The self catering apartment over-looking the garden and swimming pool, was very large and had a very modern, warm African feel to it. The manageress, Julie, was absolutely brilliant, helping us with everything we needed and making us feel right home and part of the family.

The modern facilities, such as wireless meant we could keep in touch with family member overseas during the Christmas Season, and we would definitely consider making Summit Place our permanent residence every time we returned to Cape Town.

A massive thumbs up to Julie and her staff for taking such good care of us, and we both look forward to staying with them again

"Summit Place provided us with a 2 week stay in a wonderful spacious self-contained flat.

A fully equipped kitchen, a huge walk-in shower and large relaxing sitting room and very comfortable bedroom.

The calm, white and sandy colours contrasted with the lush green garden which greeted us every morning from the panoramic windows in the bedroom. And except for the two mornings when it rained, rising above the trees, we could see a mountain peak framed against brilliant blue skies.

Lizette and Leon were extremely friendly and relaxed and made us feel completely at home. Our few odd requests were immediately sorted including our need for an adaptor for our UK mobile phone chargers. In fact we felt so at home that we ended up spending more time eating-in that we had ever intended.

Sitting on the edge of Constantia Wine Country means that you are surrounded by the beautiful landscape of wineyards creeping up the sides of the mountains which tower above you on two sides.

All the wine estates offer wine tasting and all have restaurants which yes, are a bit expensive, but very good and worth it for that point when you want to celebrate the fact that you are having a great holiday.
