The rooms were spacious, very comfortable and have views that are remarkable. The hiking was challenging which is what we sought. There are easier hikes as well.

It is a little bit of heaven tucked away in an area of tranquility but easily accessible and close proximity to many towns and cities."

We even had time to take a short guided hike in the morning down the mountain to see some cave paintings with a spectacular view. The hotel is a warm "olde world" type of place with, big comfy rooms, wild horses wandering around the grounds, great walks / hikes and absolutely breath taking views.
My son and I had a fantastic week at the retreat and were sad to leave today but we will be back.

We're vegetarian and were well catered for. The communal rooms are cosy and have amazing views of the mountains and the horses that roam the property. The hosts were warm, accommodating and familiar with the area, giving good advice for hikes and other activities. All in all, an excellent holiday, especially if you want to relax and disconnect from the rush of everyday life."
