Stayed in chalet no 5; very spacious, kitchen well equipped with all the necessary cutlery and crockery, a fridge and a top counter oven, kettle and if I remember correctly there was a toaster. The kitchen and living room is open plan and there is a big dining room table, a sofa, chair and an extra bed. The bedrooms where comfortable and clean and enough bedding. The shower is fantastic! Very strong water pressure. This unit has a big outside area that comes with a table and chairs even though we did take two camping chairs with. The bbq area is on the lawn in front of the cottage so you can still enjoy the beautiful view of the river. A few feet away is a fence where there is a very friendly horse. Two dogs might pop in from time to time and they are very friendly. There is a pool in walking distance and this unit is not far from the communal bbq area. These units have no TV and I have to say that was great. We read, played board games, bbq'd and talked. What a restful time, we were sad to leave! I would highly recommend Rondegat and want to thank our friendly hosts Charl and Anne-Marie van der Merwe for the warm welcome."
