Flossie went out of her way to make us feel welcome, even driving us to the mall one night when we couldn't get the pizza delivery place to answer their phone. She also shared her story of how she came to be the owner of such a lovely place. I would definitely recommend staying there. In all the years I've been travelling, Flossie's is up there as one of the best experiences I've had. She welcomes you with a big hug and a warm heart. Nothing is too much trouble. The B&B itself is spotless and the breakfasts wonderful. It is located in a lovely neighbourhood. There's so much to do and see in Soweto - from Orlando Towers and the Hector Pieterson museum to bicycle tours and the Freedom Charter at Kliptown... not to mention all the cool places to eat and drink. If you're in Joburg, you could either take a tourist day tour to Soweto or immerse yourself in the community by spending a few nights at Flossie's. I would strongly recommend the latter."
