The area is very secure and a pure pleasure to wake up to the beautiful view. Everything is well maintained and value for money. Its a perfect stay for little kids as the private splash pool keeps them entertained. The place is nice and clean and even meets the high standards of my mom :). "

The highlight was when we were greeted by a visit by a big family of monkeys on Saturday morning. We were so fascinated. I can write a story about this beautiful place. Other than the damaged ironing board and the light bulb in the outside room not working everything was perfect.

The group ranged from age 2 to 67 and each and everyone of us had a marvelous time!

We enjoyed braaing, playing pool and sitting on the porch whilst taking pictures of the magnificent views.

We loved seeing the animals, being surrounded by nature and the smell of fresh air in the mornings.

The staff were very professional and very friendly starting with the security guard with his great sense of humour and pleasant jokes he made. We looked forward to seeing him each time we drove out and came back from our daily excursions.

The receptionist was also very helpful and informative.

The cleaners were patient with us and very cooperative.

We enjoyed the morning cruise on our last day and the boat driver was such a humble soul.

We felt very welcome and at one point thought of staying one more night - If only we didn't have to go back to work the following morning!

We have enjoyed our stay so much so that we are planning to return to Fire Thorn - Hopefully in the near future.

It was nice to hear their noises as well as the pheasants. The aloe's were in full bloom, makes nice photo's. As from the first gate up to all of the staff, all of them are friendly.

The Sundowner cruise followed by a dinner at the Hulala Lakeside Lodge,was realy enjoyed by all of us. If at all possible, we would love to visit this place again. The only negative thing was the current roadworks, which added 20 minutes of waiting (both ways) each time we went driving anywhere, but hopefully that will be over very soon."
