"What a gem. Tucked away and nestled under the Mountains, with views to drool over, and a bit of Wildlife on your "stoep"(veranda), make these delightful cottages a must visit.
Equipped and furnished more than adequately, with an indoor and outdoor fireplace to warm you up and braai outside. Watch the Zebra, come right up to the fence of your garden, while the Wildebeest and Springbok stay at a little distance. A lovely pond, which acts as a waterhole, has Aloes around it, which attracts the Sugarbirds.
If requested your firewood, briquettes and firelighters can be ordered prior and so can the local Farmers Wines. We tried the Rose and Red which were delicious. At an excellent price too.
The cottages are very clean, self-catering and close to the Town, monument and all the tourist attractions. The Franschhoek pass is well worth a drive as the views from the top is breath-taking.
All in all we would highly recommend it.
