Kersiehuis Guest House is situated in the cherry and sandstone capital, Ficksburg, and offers guests comfortable and friendly accommodation in a Tuscan setting.

All of the rooms have en-suite bathrooms. Every room is individually decorated and furnished, with either a double or 2 single beds. We also accommodate families with up to 5 members, but this must be discussed prior to arrival. Every room has pure white linen with down duvets, which are treated to be anti-allergic. We also have synthetic bedding for those who prefer it. We have very moderate summer temperature and it is cool in the evenings. Our winters here are very cold, and for that we have heaters, electric blankets and extra blankets in every room for your comfort. Tea and coffee facilities are available along with DSTV in every room. Smoking is strictly prohibited in every room.

"We wondered what we would find in a little dorp like Ficksburg so were utterly amazed by Die Kersiehuis.It is really easy to find, just off the main road but nevertheless quiet an secluded and the rooms are beautiful. We were very comfortable and had a restful night and a great breakfast the next morning. The service was excellent and nothing was too much trouble for the management and staff. "The B and B is on a quiet street in Ficksburg. It is run efficiently by a family. The room is comfortable and the bed extremely so. Breakfast was fine with a full range of cereal, fruit and cooked. A pleasant place to stay and spend the weekend out of the city.
