"Arniston Holiday Cottage - I can highly recommend this lovely holiday home for a weekend in Arniston - and much longer - for its great holiday character, comfort and easy living. Four of us loved our recent weekend there, a perfect place to appreciate the unique beauty of Arniston and surrounds. The house is spacious, light and airy with a layout that would suit a family or group of friends as we were - all the more enjoyable for being well organised and equipped for dining, braaing, cooking and relaxing. It was spotlessly clean when we arrived and easy to maintain. There are no ensuite bathrooms, but the two family bathrooms were functional, clean and comfortable. It is well situated and we were able to walk around the village and harbour, to the beach and to the hotel for a drink and watch the rugby. Waking up to birdsong and silence was a special treat. The house appealed to us from the website descriptions, booking was easy, the house was as described, and communications after booking were efficient and well informed. The cost is good value, especially affordable for an extended family as there are four bedrooms. Thanks for the wonderful stay, we all agreed that we would return in a heartbeat."

The front patio was the perfect area for relaxing and where most of the group chatting and activities took place. The very comfortable lounge, with Hi-fi system for cricket commentary, was really great too. We also travelled to nearby reserves to do some intensive bird watching, and the Waenhuiskraans cave and the great swimming beach just rounded off the fantastic weekend!
