Regardless, we packed our bags and headed out and were amazed at the excellent service at Boord Guest House, despite our low energy. The guest house staff were so generous in making sure that we were happy and comfortable. The fire was lit for the entire duration of our stay, two water bottles were in our bed before lights out and we woke up to an enormous hot breakfast on Sunday morning with beautiful music and the fire blazing. Exactly what the doctor ordered!"
