We advise on the two breakfast options: the continental buffet and the English breakfast. Most guests -including yourself- opt for the continental buffet @ R 45 which includes three types of cereals, plain and fruit yoghurt, milk, raisins, linseed, sunflower seeds, dates, dried prunes and banana slices, fruit basket, fresh fruit salad, cheese platter, cold meat platter, brown and white bread, rice and corn crackers, rusks, biscuits, butter and margarine, jams, two flavours fruit juices, hot chocolate, black and rooibos tea, and filter coffee. IÕm a bit surprised to hear that you find that expensive; when I go to a coffee shop in town, a simple toasted sandwich without a drink is even more expensive. We did take a walk into the town centre and were not bothered by anyone - we had lunch in a little cafe there and then walked back. The owner of the guesthouse provided details of a reputable taxi service (very reasonable rates) that we used to get out in the evening for dinner at Joe's Beer house - nice beer. "

The only thing I can find fault with is that the breakfast of bacon and eggs was quite minimalist. Being "boere" from South Africa, bacon is enjoyed in larger amounts.

I sill most certainly recommend a stay here to anyone and hopefully be back again in the future. "
