"We stayed in Coetzer House last weekend. I loved the house from the moment I saw it. Rustic rock face cottage with wide sweeping verandas which featured a relaxing hot tub and a huge outdoor fireplace. There was plenty of outdoor furniture with stunning views across the mountains. The house had 2 bedrooms with very comfortable queen size beds. There were 2 bathrooms downstairs plus a loft space with 4 single beds upstairs. The kitchen had a gas stove and a surprise dishwasher was found in the scullery which included fridge and separate freezer. Lounge had DSTV and comfy furniture. The nearest town is about 30 km away, so pack everything you need! There is a farm shop which sells basics like wood, but also some tasty cakes and other treats. We spent a lot of time using the supplied canoe and rowing boat on the river. We noticed hikers and mountain bikers in the distance. but as the cottages are quite far apart we had lots of privacy and had a relaxing weekend, braaing under the stars and just spending quality family time together in a beautiful scenic house on the rivers's edge."

"Everything about the Rivers Edge Accom is special from the tasteful decor and small touches, to accommodation itself and magnificent views! This si one of our favourite places to spend a weekend and we will keep going back for as long as we are able :) 5 stars a massive high 5"

From the amazing setting on the farm, to the awesome Breede flowing past our deck, to the fantastic setup of the cottage and the beautiful views of the snow capped mountains! From the amazing setting on the farm, to the awesome Breede flowing past our deck, to the fantastic setup of the cottage and the beautiful views of the snow capped mountains! This truly is a slice of heaven! Hardly saw another person during our stay (yet all cottages were booked out), so it felt like we were the only people on the farm. There were 5 adults, 1 toddler and 2 little dogs tucked away in the cottage, but we were never cramped for space and the cottage catered for all our needs. To be honest I was hesitant to give a review since I wanted to keep this place a secret all to myself, by eventually realised that a place like this has to be shared by as many as possible! We'll definitely be back!"
