We requested that our breakfast please be halaal and Ilze went out of her way to accommodate us in that aspect. I've come across a few establishments that would just say they don't do halaal catering & then we must make other eating arrangements. Ilze is a real star and goes out of her way for all guests. The Saturday evening we just wanted to relax, so she offered that we can use the lounge area to relax in front of the fire place, which was a real treat. The kids really adores her. The lodge is nice and cosy & it’s neatly looked after. Breakfast was excellent. We already have plans to go back there again and we have informed friends of us about the Lodge. A big thumbs up from all of us that stayed there."
