"Hi, my girlfriend and I stayed at Hermanus Guest House on Saturday 04 June 2011. We had a lovely day at the Wacky Wine Festival in Robertson and arrived very tired just after 7pm. We had an excellent welcome: the gentleman was very friendly and helpful. He showed us where we should park, showed us our room and told us that if we need anything we should just tell him. We went to bed just after 8pm and only woke up at 9 am. The mattress, bed and linen were very comfortable and a beautiful colour (white and blue). The next morning I had one of the best breakfasts I have ever had. The presentation, area, variety, detail (lavender leaf) and service were out of this world. I must compliment the gentleman who served us, (same gentleman as the previous evening). We paid R400 for a Standard Room, which I think is very affordable taking into account the service we received. The gentleman agreed that we can have a look at the more expensive rooms and man was I impressed. The décor, colours and ambiance in these rooms were beautiful. Each room made me feel that I was a prince and my girlfriend a princess. I would for definitely come back to Hermanus Guesthouse. Thanks for making us feel so at home. It should not be a “Guest”house but a “Home” House. I will recommend this to my friends and family.

The best was that we just asked for a suggestion of a good seafood restaurant not only did he recommend the restaurant but even went the extra mile and booked the table for us. The breakfast was delicious with enough food to last one for a full day. It was great to be able to relax in a comfy chair with a cold glass of wine or water with my husband and watch the waves crash onto the rocks and recharge our "batteries".
