"I found the Thulani lodge to be very nice and clean. The bathroom is big, lots of pillows in the room, great staff, and good breakfast. The only thing that takes it down to a 4 is that the pool was not in use."

"I arrived at Thulani Lodge after 5 days of a horrible start to my 2 week stay in South Africa. I was greeted with a warm smile and all the help I needed to get some of my problems sorted my first evening. Each of my days Mr. Beat gave me excellent directions to the places I wanted to go.

The Lodge is beautifully decorated and extremely informal. Excellent restaurants are just minutes away and most restaurants deliver from a wide range of food. The breakfast is cooked to order and is very good.

The rooms are large, simple and clean. The stocked refrigerator is an added plus. The swimming pool is clean and located in a well landscaped garden. I was able to park my car in their secured garage.

There is a one day laundry service that does a great job with cleaning and ironing clothes. Two guided tours were arranged by excellent tour guides from the Lodge. I was picked up and dropped off at the Lodge.

I was recommended by friends to stay at Thulani Lodge. I plan on using the place again due to its location (not far from the airport and just off the motor route). It is located in a quite neighbourhood with stores just minutes away. The stay was relaxing and an enjoying time to be in Johannesburg. "

My only complaint is that I wished the bathroom had a shower and not a bath tub. The lodge is walking distance away from all the great shops in Melville and the parking is very secure in a 24 hour watched and gated lot. I would stay here again anytime!"
