We were booked in La Dolce Vita, only used Shonalanga to sleep our extra family members.

We were treated with love and compassion by the staff there, only check -out at 12.30pm.

We apologise for two of our family members for only coming back from the Beach at 11.30am on Monday to check out.

The female Manager was extremely rude with my family members and had scolded them.

She said to my family that, she tried calling me, My cell was with me, all the time and I did not receive a call, as I would had come and checked them out.

We will not be booking or staying at Shonalanga resort again.

Adele and her staff are extremely friendly and accommodating to ensure holidaymakers have a great time whilst visiting the estuary. A clean and fully fitted apartment with double ablution amenities awaits you upon arrival. Ample parking for vehicles and trailers.
The barbeque (or better known in South Africa as braai ;) area which is central to the apartments is a good place to make friends and learn from other visitors about their countries and tell them more about ours. Sufficient seating and picnic tables are provided without infringing on anyone’s privacy adjacent to the daily serviced fire places.
The sparkling pool was another plus point when we returned from the beach – we enjoyed a refreshing dip before having sun downer drinks on the loungers.
Although you feel at home in the apartments, you know you are also close to nature when hearing all the beautiful bird calls in the morning, seeing vervet monkeys in the trees around you and watching banded mongoose playing in the garden of Shonalanga, and the occasional wandering by of a hippopotamus late evening in the main street. What a nice experience!

To my surprise the accommodation was superb, clean, neat and the service very professional.
With the smiles and friendliness of Wendy, Adele and Goodness we had a wonderful weekend and promised them that we will be back. If it ever happens that I go to St Lucia again, I will not even look at any other accommodation. During our stay we met a lot of overseas youngsters on tour and it made us proud to share such neat accommodation and efficient staff, fellow South Africans with visitors from overseas.
Shonalanga Holiday Apartments is spacious, based very central in town and makes visiting the places of interest within walking distance.
We can definitely recommend Shonalanga Holiday Apartments.
