Concealed in the rich expanses of the malaria-free Pilanesberg National Park, Bakubung, or “People of the Hippo”, offers you everything you need to get in touch with the bush.

Minimum stay of 2 nights over weekends (Friday and Saturday).

Please note:
*** Rate is on a Dinner, Bed and Breakfast basis, and also includes 1 complimentary game drive is included per person per night’s stay.

Child Policy:
***Children aged 12 years and younger (maximum two children per room) will be accommodated free of charge on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis if sharing with one or two adults in a Standard Room. Children aged 13-17 years will be accommodated free of charge on a room only basis and will be charged R540.00 per child per day for breakfast, dinner and one game drive, if sharing with one or two adults. Children occupying their own rooms will be charged the full adult rate.

"On the spur of the moment I decided to treat myself to a short - but very delightful - one night stay at Bakubung Bush Lodge to celebrate my birthday on Monday 20 April 2015!
The stylish accommodation accompanied by the scrumptious dinner & breakfast were superb and all contributed to me having a spoiled birthday which were all wrapped up with the, although very cold, very enjoyable morning game drive that ensured a memorable day without a hint of any possible “Monday Blues” feelings.
I will definitely return to this lodge for a longer period stay to make the most of the facilities, since if this is what it does for the morale in a one night sleep over, I am sure it guarantees wonders for the spirit next time! "
