"Auberge Burgundy provides excellent accommodation in an ideal location in the heart of Hermanus. The French styling of the hotel gives it character and provides a pleasing atmosphere, full of charm. Parking is available on-site and the staff are very pleasant and helpful. Our room was well presented, having high ceilings and spacious accommodation with a small seating area overlooking the well maintained gardens. Breakfast was first-class in the restaurant across the way, where service was excellent and the food first-class. In conclusion the hotel would be our first choice for our next Hermanus visit and we are grateful to the staff for making our stay such a pleasant experience."

"Great B&B"

"Lovely rooms, particularly nice by the pool, great breakfast although because they were so busy we had to wait some time. The Auberge is in an excellent position in Hermanus, we really enjoyed our stay."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Auberge Burgundy - the welcome we received as soon as we parked our car and the Receptionists were truly very friendly. We had a lovely room overlooking the Square and will definitely come back again next year to this establishment. Well done everybody......"

"I first visited Hermanus during my first trip to South Africa and fell in love with the Auberge Burgundy. The room was so comfortable and so attractively decorated that I always intended to return with a man to share the wonderful place. Fortunately my wish came true as I treated my husband to a two night stay last month (November 08). The room was beautiful with a great view of the bay. We were welcomed by the owner, who has obviously put a great deal of effort and imagination into the running of the Auberge.
I can't wait for our next visit.

"I took my Mum, two sisters and my brother to the Auberge for my mum's 84th birthday recently. The penthouse was suggested and was perfect for our gathering. The parking lot is a little hard to negotiate but from first to last The Auberge was a joy. It is an interesting building with lots of character - wooden shutters, hidden courtyards, mellow paint effects on the walls. We were made very welcome and felt free to use the lounge area downstairs to read the 'paper or indulge in a complimentary sherry or port. All three bedrooms in the penthouse had fabulous sea views and we watched the whale’s from our balcony - though the wind was appalling unfortunately. Situation is perfect - close to the cliff paths and to town. The kitchen was easy to use with most things one needs - we even cooked a roast one night. The penthouse is up two flights of steep stairs but my mum had no trouble with them. We enjoyed the open fire as the wind could have made us a bit cold. The staff were efficient and friendly without being intrusive. A fabulous venue - I hope we can come back."

"We wanted a venue at the heart of Hermanus and it is.
We were very pleased with the our accommodation and particularly pleased to be allocated room 17 which is larger than normal and had an open fire which was very enjoyable given the cold nights and that far outweighed the proximity to the road and the building site opposite, neither of which caused any nuisance.
The service was warm and helpful."
