Blow me down if she doesn't go out of her way to provide us with one of the tastiest Banting-friendly suppers we have ever been served, without our asking for it! Would go back if only for her culinary skills. Pity we could not have a hot shower due to the lack of water pressure."

The lounge and dining room are full of interesting memorabilia and there is a good selection of books on the local flora. The food - breakfast and dinner - was excellent. It was good homestyle cooking well prepared and nicely served. Marie went out of her way to see that the guests were comfortable and well fed.

Owner Dave Walker welcomed us to Rhodes 'The Centre of the Universe' and both he and Marie gave us plenty of information about Rhodes.

We would definitely recommend Walkerbouts to anyone visiting Rhodes.

The welcome we received at Walkerbouts was extremely warm and friendly - they were about to phone us to see if we got lost. Family room was very comfortably despite power cut( but that was Escom to blame). After a drink in the very jolly pub, their home cooked dinner was delicious, especially the pizzas.
