We spent an entire afternoon on a photo shoot of the farmyard, the railway coach and the oxwagon. The duck pond with the black swans completed a perfect picture. The close proximity of Marakele Game Reserve (10 mins) was an added bonus. The weekend totally blew us away. A gem waiting to be discovered. "The self catering unit is well located, at a farm, next to the Marakele National Park. You can see a lot of animals and the braai area is nice. The chalets are lovely, but it can be very cold in winter. The staff is very welcoming, the breakfast very good, so as the evening meals."
