We were able to enjoy a delicious meal on Friday night at the restaurant on site without having made a prior booking. This trip we only visited the Big Tree accessed from away with the Fairies (awesome outdoor bath! ). As on previous trips we had compkeyed the other hikes and the misty weather made everything an extra challenge. We loved our weekend in Hogsback and would recommend the Edge to anyone."

Upon our arrival on 31/12/2014, the receptionist told us that our booking and payment were not received. The accommodation we booked and the deposit paid was not acknowledged. We booked a specific chalet at The Edge. We had to settle for something less, although we did receive a bit of a discount on that garden rondavel. Although I showed the receptionist the booking and confirmation on my Ipad, the lady still kept to what she said.

The next morning (New Year's day) SafariNow confirmed the booking and payment and contacted The Edge. When we checked out, we were told (by a different receptionist) that the booking and money were received on time from SafariNow.

I am very greatful of the great and speedy intervention from SafariNow in this regard! Especially on New Year's day!"

We were booked into the Sugarbird but upon arriving discovered that the bathroom was full of water, I did not mind and asked for a mop, when the manager insisted on moving us to the Stargazer. Wow! What a place, I loved it. We then went to the restaurant and had one of the best meals we have had in ages! This was a surprise because I did not expect SUCH a great meal! In the end we had a fantastic stay, this was the first time our children had been to Hogsback and they asked if we could please buy Stargazer as they want to live there, Dad can chop wood for a living and Mom can make crafts and do bookkeeping!!!! They were sooo stoked. We thank you for an amazing stay and great, friendly service! We have been speaking to friends to book with us next time, and yes, it would definitely be at The Edge!"
