Check in and check out procudures were quick and effortless. Chalets were spotless, large and comfortable. Bathrooms were very comfortable too. Linens and towels were of a good quality as well as the crockery and cutlery provided on sight which superseded my expectations.

The best part were the beautiful decked terraces at the front and back of the chalets.

There are also many activities on sight. The mall is 2 minutes away which is convenient to stock up on your goodies.

All in all a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I will definitely return."

Kruger Park is a 10-minute drive away. There are plenty of shops just outside the golf park for supplies. The only disappointment was the evening meal we had at the park reception restaurant. We had to send two meals back as they were not cooked correctly and had to wait over 45 minutes for a bowl of ice cream; the service was atrocious and they weren't that busy. I believe four other tables sent food back! When we complained at reception the reply was that the restaurant was a separate entity to the golf park!"

-kitchen has all the utensils you could possibly need [minus a blender] for 8 people
-a braai stand
-the chalet is cleaned up every day by room service
-very very reasonably priced

I would strongly recommend Kruger Park Lodge to anyone going to visit Kruger National Park or anything else in the surroundings as it is a fantastic place to stay with the family for a small vacation.

"The Kruger Park Lodge is a small hamlet in the heart of Hazyview. The drive from the main gate to reception is scenic, relaxed and welcoming. The staff are professional, courteous and always willing to help. The accommodation is homely, stylish and great value for money.
There is adorable wildlife, ranging from the impala antelope who stroll freely throughout the establishment, the vervet monkeys who romp around the trees and hippos wading in the dam.
The whole family can enjoy themselves as the lodge caters to all - young and old. The golf course meanders around the entire estate, so one is engulfed into the game even as a mere guest.
We had a lovely time and would recommend the lodge to any and everybody who wants a truly carefree and relaxing getaway from the hustle & bustle of city life.

For nature lovers there is quite a variety of birds, and you can often find Impala and Vervet Monkeys on your doorstep, not to forget the Kruger National Park only 12km away On top of this is a wonderful "hippo hide" - a good place to simply relax and enjoy nature.
