The room we had was very comfortable, as was the bed, with an ensuite bathroom and excellent hot shower. Magazines for light reading were also provided. We had our own entrance from a small private patio (stoep), with its own small table and chairs, overlooking the garden and quiet street. There was secure parking at the back of the guesthouse. A full breakfast was provided in the morning before we set off and our hosts kindly dug up and donated some plants which we had admired in their garden. We will definitely stay again.

The owners are a lovely couple and even assisted me leaving in the morning and noted I had a punctured wheel and told me where to go to in Colesburg for repair. If not I would of had no clue and been stranded for hours as I'm a typical blonde. Bravo Barracks you will see me again, hopefully alone so I can relish that lovely Brandy collection of yours in peace and the fresh air - minus my kids – haha!"
