"When arriving we found the place clean and comfortable. We did some braai for dinner and were amazed by the quietness that fell around 18h30 on the place. There were no sounds what so ever where there were some children laughing a few minutes ago from a close by farm with workers.

The next morning we were greeted by some Kudus and a little later some Zebra came right up to the door. We were tempted to give something to eat but resisted as it would have made them come back for more, after all it was only a three sleeper rondawel.
Every day some other visitors came in and the birds kept us entertained as well. The new tar road from Komatipoort makes such a difference and entry at Crocodile Gate is a pleasure. We made use of that every day.
