We had wall to wall sunshine for pretty much the whole of our fortnight, this day was no exception and after a hot and tiring walk/paddle along a couple of k's of the exquisite beach (particularly the climb back up the dunes to the car - phew!). I enjoyed a most refreshing dip in Hans and Marlene's little pool - lovely!



The evening meal they provided was plain, but tasty enough and reasonably priced. There was a misunderstanding over the ordering of Dinner, as my Pork Chop turned out to be Lamb (!) and Chrissie's Chicken Stroganoff arrived as a Beef Stroganoff...? Hey ho! We made no mention and it all got eaten! At breakfast there were no such probs! And it was a good tasty start to the day.

"My girlfriend and I stayed at Blue Horizon Bay Guest House for four nights from the 16th to 20th Dec 2011. The aim was to go to PE for a holiday of nothing but adventure and fun fun fun. Hans was our host and I really appreciate the hospitality he showed us from first day. It was our first time in PE - though we got lost Hans directed us until we got to our destination. We arrived to this beautiful big, clean and very relaxed house with swimming pool. Parked the car outside, and yes it was very safe for all the time we were there. Actually the entire Blue Horizon Bay area is very safe. Our room with a shower was well looked after while we were out. The nice view of the ocean from our room was the most memorable thing of it all. Our host, Hans, gave us information and advice on the area and restaurants. I definitely see myself going back to Blue Horizon Bay Guest House in the future. I proudly and confidently give it 10/10 for the standard, service and security. Many thanks, Hans.
