Mountain View Retreat offers self-catering accommodation in undiscovered panoramic beauty at the foothills of the Hlumu-hlumu Mountains.

Wake up with the awesome view of the mountain on your doorstep, with birds singing to the glory of their creator. See the morning sun reflecting diamond drops with endless possibilities from flower petals and grass blades with the waking up of the mountainside streaking fresh morning colours. From your patio in the late afternoon, experience the sun going to sleep behind the mountain, leaving patches of pinkie-orange against the otherwise dark blueish evening sky. On a clear night a few hours later, be entertained on a symphony evening of the night. Draped most often in a ball gown consisting of millions of sparkling stars with cricket tenors as background music in harmony with choruses of frogs and a soprano of a night owl or two.

Mountain View offers accommodation in 7 chalets, that each contain 3 separate bedrooms, 1 bathroom, and an open kitchen area. One bedroom contains a double bed and the other bedrooms each contain 2 single beds. The bathroom is equipped with a shower. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering purposes.

The Retreat also offers a standard-size pool, a private boma braai area for groups, a jungle gym for children, a games lapa with a pool table and table tennis, a large sports field, and a dam with canoes. Catch-and-release bass fishing can be done on the dam.

The retreat is ideal for the nature lover, that wants to escape from it all as well as for family get-together's, church and school groups. On neighbouring farms within walking distance there is a golf course and Mountain View is 1 km away from the closest mountain range which is ideal for day walks for the whole family.
