"It was my first trip to Johannesburg and the best decision to book this wonderful accommodation. Everything was lovely, everyone is very friendly, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the area is nice, breakfast is delicious. The whole atmosphere is familiar from the first minute you arrive.

"I took 4 girls up to Joburg to watch the One Direction concert and brought my mom and dad with to see my brothers. I have stayed there 3 times now and my mom twice. Anna and Esther are to be commended for treating us like royalty. The food was outstanding and the two girls got up really early to make breakfast for us on the Monday we left. Wonderful hospitality! My 4 girls swam in the pool too. Lovely stay. Would I stay here again? Would I encourage others to stay here? The answer would be a resounding YES! Gooseberry Lodge deserves all its stars.
