The accommodation is more that comfortable, the old house having been transformed into a fully functional boutique hotel without loosing any of its old world charm. Our room was spacious and beautifully furnished without being pretentious and the radio even had a docking station for our iPod!
We felt totally at home.

The heart of the whole business is Elana. She organised all our social life for the duration of our stay in Stellenbosch with a unique efficiency. We went to the very best restaurants and everything she suggested was of the highest quality. Very friendly with a big heart and always there when you needed her. She is a great leader, and that reflects her great spirit to the rest of the team.
If you go to Cape Town, you must visit Stellenbosch and no doubt...stay at Batavia. You will have an unforgetable experience. I had the best time ever.
