Marius and Philna are great hosts. They made sure we didn't run out of drinks, snacks or sweets, they really made us feel at home. Can’t thank them enough for their warmest hospitality. I can just go on and on. It was a great weekend, peaceful and relaxing. Best choice. They should name it a little paradise on earth.

"Andes Clarens is such an understated gem in the Free State. Just 3kms from Clarens, this delightful farm setting made me feel like I was walking within a decor magazine. So pristine is the surrounding, even in winter, it is just beautiful. Quiet, quiet and more quiet. You can decide exactly what you feel like doing, whether it is sleeping late (yes it is THAT quiet) or going for walks or shopping up a storm in nearby Clarens. The interior is exquisite, underfloor heating in the room and bathroom, a large oval bath, fire place and flat screen TV. A small kitchenette makes it so easy to sort yourself out and there is also the daily treat from owners which is snacks, sherry and wine. They offer a full breakfast as well. The patio is divine, with sheep nearby, loads of birds and the cutest visiting dachshund named Killer! It has an awesome wedding venue, and is from what I can tell, the best kept secret in Clarens. I will go back, would love to experience this place in summer, utilise the great braai set-up, and maybe even convince friends to join in the room next door and have loads of relaxing fun next to the pool and just existing in the beautiful surrounds of this special B & B."
