Not a deal breaker ye, but somewhat disapointing after a long drive from Joburg!!

I think the recovery was great, we were scheduled to leave quite early the following day, before the Lodge starts serving breakfast; the ladies who were on duty on Sunday made us packed breakfast and this was lovely.

The bedding could do with upgrading -we were not happy with the linen at all. looked and felt too used.

Surely you can do better than offer a single bed for an adult? The lodge was not fully booked on Sunday and an act of goodwill would have gone a long way in endearing the brand to new customers like us. You may want to invest in 3/4 beds for your single rooms.

Would I come back? Yes, definitely, but I will have modified my expectations somewhat. I loved the tranquil pretty setting and natural environment and would love to uset the Lodge as a breakaway sanctuary.
