"This was 1st visit to Gooderson Drakensberg Gardens but it would not be our last we are already planning our next visit.We had an absolute blast of a time we thoroughly enjoyed our stay the facilities are endless there so much to do and yet so less time.My wife and daughter hi - light was doing the Zip Line it was fabulous.The walks was so divine and peaceful. There so much to talk about but don't want to spoil it for your visit you have to put on top of your list to visit this awesome destination away from the city life.
The staff was extremely friendly and always greeted when we passed each other.
The reception staff was pleasant and very helpful.
Last but not least the views are fantastic

We walked in to enjoy a night of karaoke only to find the bar packed with kids who basically took over the bar leaving the kids play area empty. We could not find atable and had to wait outside until some left.This says a lot about these parents and managements responsibility.

We last visited your establishment around 42 years ago when we thoroughly enjoyed our stay even then. How things have changed and improved since then!
The facilities are awesome and cater for every age group and fitness level including the tennis courts, badminton, putt-putt, squash, lovely peaceful Spa and health centre including gym, horse riding, biking, cycling, hiking, bowls, swimming pools and even a petting zoo for the kiddies! Also a superette at hand for your every need.
The Eagle's roost restaurant provides a lovely relaxed setting with super buffet meal, Bistro's for easy lunches, VineKnot for an "Italian" feel. The scenery is really something else and worthwhile spending some time just admiring the mountains and walking along the road or paths amongst the beautiful well-established trees.
Your staff members are the friendliest I have encountered for a long time, they are always smiling and obliging and helpful in every way. A credit to good training.
Your room facilities were more than adequate.
Altogether a very happy few days spent in your establishment in such a beautiful "garden" setting.
