"We set out on Thursday afternoon to our Easter Weekend destination. The drive was just under an hour and a half from Cape Town along the N2. Initially we were worried that finding the location would be difficult however after driving a couple of kilometres along the R43 we came to a board sign signalling the turn into Fisherhaven. We took the turn and drove about 500 metres and alas! We had reached our destination.

The lodge was inviting and the hostess very welcoming. Checking in was very easy and within a few minutes we had been taken on a tour of the property to familiarize with the surroundings and communal spaces which would be our home for the following 3 days.

The room we had was a standard yet cosy room, perfect for a home away from home. The shared spaces were well equipped and extremely clean, the pool and entertainment area being my top of the list as it turned out we wound down our evenings there for the entire duration of our stay.
The lodge is well located with most of the outdoors activities a couple of minutes’ drive away in either direction.

Despite terrible weather on the Friday, we can happily attest to a wonderful stay in Fisherhaven and we got more than our money's worth.
