The accomodation was beautiful, equipped with all the little things you never think to pack or that you would need. The little touches are what make a place stand out from others.

For me the hosts are what makes Darling Lodge stand out from the rest of the pack. They were so accomodating and helpful. From booking restaraunts, providing information on attractions to allowing my son to help in the kitchen. They could not have done more to make our stay special.

Darling is a quiet sleepy town but there are many attractions close by. You can walk to most things in town. We visited the local museum, Buffelsfontein game far, Darling Olive farm. You can visit beaches such as Yzerfontein and there is a KoiSan village.

A definite stop for any type of traveller."

I will definitely go back again and stay at the Lodge. From rooms setting to decor and the small gestures of flowers on your pillow on arrival and some thing to nibble on.

The breakfast table is set in a room outside and you are surrounded by nature as you are eating, next to the pool side. Definite a must visit for everyone. I have told my colleagues about it and will go back any time.
