"My colleagues and I stayed at the Big Five Guesthouse on the 28th of April 2015. The host, Akona gave us a very welcome greeting, helped us with our luggage and showed us to our rooms.
The rooms are spacious & clean with room amenities including DSTV, a mini fridge and coffee and tea making facilities. The king size bed with comfortable pillows and mattress ensured us a good night's sleep. The bathroom features are aesthetic and fully functional.
The dining room featured a communal microwave, coffee percolator and a scullery that guest are welcome to use. The breakfast menu lists 10 different options (apart from the cereals that are available in the scullery) Milk and biscuits are also found in the scullery.
The location of the guesthouse is somewhat out of town but completely safe. There is a Superspar approximately 500m from the guesthouse. All in all, we had great service, a good night's rest and delicious meals that will certainly draw us back here in the near future. "

"We stayed there just overnight on our journey from Durban to Grahamstown. What we found there was a quiet place with plenty of space to use. The kitchen had all that we needed to prepare our Dinner, our Host was super nice, the bedroom fine and the breakfast perfect.

It was quiet and peaceful, and the ladies got a chance to have their beauty sleep in between the weddings. The staff was very welcoming. The breakfast was more than enough. Extremely appreciative of the fact that my friends were allowed to check in very early when they arrived."
