My mother was very impressed with how well equipped the kitchen was.There is absolutely nothing to fault here; the house felt like a home from home, and the gardens were stunning. A special mention should go out to the owner Ilze who was so friendly and helpful, and always checking we were doing ok. I am sure we will return."

I have recently stayed at a very good 5* hotel in Sun City (we all know which one we are referring to here) and the breakfast prepared at Four Fields far overshadowed that of any 5* hotel. I have then later had an accident while hiking on the Otter Trail and booked in again for 2 more days at Four Fields and was really assisted in all my needs during my stay. This is an excellent guest house and I can really recommend this to any person. The rates are also very, very good."

On awakening we were able to see just how beautiful our surroundings were on the farm and we were disappointed that we did not arrive earlier the previous day to take a stroll and enjoy the place. The cottage was extremely comfortable and comes with everything one would need for self catering. The excellent Nature Way Farm stall over the road is extremely convenient for milk, cheese, bread, fruit and veg. The drive down the pass into Natures Valley is magnificent and we loved exploring the surrounding area which is also beautiful. All in all I would highly recommend it, especially as you are far away from all the city mod cons like TVs and radios."
