Perhaps it’s in the people who make you feel so warmly welcome, at the bar after your game drive, at the breakfast table before you set out, or in the boma for dinner under the stars. Perhaps its in the sense of the bushveld. The dust of the elephant herds, the closeness of the rhino, the fleeting glimpse of the leopard… or the massive power of the buffalo coming down to drink within meters of the front verandah.

The Bush House is a lovely old homestead with six comfortable en-suite bedrooms. The house looks over a beautiful waterhole that attracts fantastic game and can be viewed from the magnificent garden. The atmosphere is warm and friendly and guests are welcomed as if to someone’s home.

"The Bush House and gardens are beautiful and we had a wonderful stay. It was magical sitting watching the animals at the waterhole and I will never forget lying in bed and listening to the roar of a lion. The meals were superb and the staff excellent, friendly and attentive with a great eye for detail. The game drives were fantastic and exciting, thanks to our guide, Jacques, who is so enthusiastic and knowledgeable he was able to seek out even the most elusive animals, and we learned so much from him."
