Sea Shack is a unique eco-glamping experience living in and with nature. Ten pretty shacks are set on a picture perfect bay in the Cape Columbine Nature Reserve. Here the birds are your wakeup call and the ocean your lullaby.

Each shack has a queen sized or twin beds with Cloud Nine mattresses and good quality crisp linen. We have created the most charming little Sea Shacks to accommodate you within an idyllic and tranquil setting. Each wooden cabin is being personalized and themed to suit its name by the famous artist Theo Kleynhans. Whether you have the pleasure of staying in Oyster or the delight of Dolphin this is sure to be the beginning of a special memory.

There are four 'kleinhuises' that are shared each one has a gas heated shower and an eco-toilet. We have a communal Boma with well-equipped kitchen, scullery and fridge. Powered by solar and gas, Sea Shack is off the grid. No hairdryers but mobile cell charging and reception is available. Join us around the fire pit at night to cook and kuier. We do our best to provide everything essential to make your stay comfortable. We do suggest bringing along extra headlamps and your favourite fleecy blanket. Guests are reminded that there is no electricity supply on our premises but we do have solar powered facilities available for the charging of electronic devices. We do not have Wi-Fi but do have a reliable mobile signal at camp.
Guests need to bring their own towels.

Located within the Cape Columbine Nature Reserve we are nearby the charming fishing village of Paternoster (5kms away).

*** Price includes multiple entries to the Cape Columbine Nature Reserve.
*** No pets in nature reserve.
***No day visitors.
***No bachelor parties.
*** All guests without exception have to be made fully aware that full payment has to done before arrival at Sea Shack, and proof of payment sent to Sea Shack via email to or sms to without fail. Access to the camp may be denied if this is not adhered to.

"Our stay at Sea Shack was one that we will never forget!!!
We were welcomed so warmly by Peter when we arrived, he gave us a quick tour and helped us to get set into our beautiful sea shack's. Not only was this the best stay / road trip weekend we ever had but we also had the best of the best sea view's while lying in bed. We enjoyed it so much here from late night fire at the boma to walks around the beach which was breath taking. I'll recommend the Sea Shack to anyone that wants to break away from the town and the traffic and come and enjoy a stay at the Sea Shack which you will never forget.!!!
