When we arrived at the cottage we were welcomed by a breath of fresh air, beautiful nature and our fishing rods were ready and waiting outside our cozy stunning cottage. Every effort was made to create a homely experience from little sachets of coffee to a small vase of flowers that was set next to the bedside.
There was perfect synergy between the inside decor and outdoor-setting, they seemed to flow effortlessly to and from each other.
Even though I did not catch a fish, I 'caught' a renewed appreciation for nature my partner and a revitalized spirit.

As soon as you arrive you automatically unwind and you can't help but relax. I loved waking up every morning to the lovely morning chorus the birds deliver. There are dams to fly fish and lovely walking trails to explore. The quaint village of Haenertsburg is only about 15 minutes away. We will definitely be back!"
