The owners are so kind and welcoming. We got there late soo they prepared the wood for us because it was cold. In the morning we went hiking. James made the hiking Saturday experience nicer. I enjoyed my stay. The road in rainy season requires a bakkie(we traveled with a small car) but the owners responded to our call for assistance to get us unstuck and they were very quick...we got back safe. Would recommend it to everyone who is in need of a break from the city life."

Hosts Tinus and Elize are gracious, down-to-earth people with a passion for farming and farm management that we found inspiring. Tinus, particularly, was a mine of information about cherry and apple farming, and we watched the orchards burst into blossom with pure delight. It was also great to see Tinus' herd of cattle graze contentedly around the farm - a true example of free range cattle. Although not fishermen ourselves, it was also good to sit on the banks of the dams, being eyed by the bass in the clear water below! Thanks Tinus and Elize, we'll be back!"
