"We had a very nice stay, services were very good, the meals very good the facilities cater just about for every age.Golf course always enjoyable.
Would like to return next Christmas with my family and stay in two chalets for at least a week."

"Having stayed at Champagne Sports resort last about 9 years ago I was a little concerned that things might have slipped or that I may have overrated my last stay. I was very pleased to find things as I remembered them if not better. From check in to check out the staff could not have been more pleasant. The service was well above standard and the homely feel of the wood fires in all the lounges and restaurants made you feel welcome. While we did not have lunch at the hotel our breakfast and supper meals were excellent with a wide selection of well presented dishes. I definitely got the feeling that there were no short cuts being taken or skimping on quality or quantity. Definitely worth the visit, well done to management and staff."

"When we arrived it was a Sunday and the resort had had a 2 day conference and was breaking down - we were 2 hours after check in time after a very long drive and of course our room was still not ready so we were told to come back!! Not a good start. The resort itself has great facilities, the room was good and the buffet was extremely good, however the dining room was exceptionally cold with no heating on, all guests had coats on. This hotel obviously relies heavily on conferences so when they are not there I feel they do not try so hard."

The resort catered to all our accommodation needs especially the food and activities kept us busy until Sunday. The resort is very scenic and tranquil and shows the best of what the Drakensberg has to offer. more
