The two members of staff who assisted the owners were always cheerful and pleasant. Breakfast was served between 8 and 10, always of a high standard and with a good selection of hot and cold food. While at breakfast the owners would enquire about your previous day's activities and offered assistance with arrangements for any future excursion. I would have no hesitation in staying at Baysideside Lodge again and would definitely recommend it to others visiting Plettenberg."

The operator of Bayside, Margaret, could not have been more helpful in telling us about the area and arranging for dinner reservations, driving instructions and taxi service. We ate extremely well in Plett and breakfast at Bayside was delicious and served outside on a patio overlooking the garden. As advertised the beach was a short walk away and was beautiful. At one end of the beach are shops and a restaurant if you need a break from the sun. The accomodations and service at Bayside were first rate and we thoroughly enjoyed our two day stay. "
