There were fresh scones with jam and grated cheese, as well as fresh flowers in the unit. We found the cottage comfortable for the two nights we stayed. It was quite cold, but the oil heater made it comfortable. The cottage provided a private comfortable space that was well located for our purposes."

"We recently stayed over at Wild Forest Inn for 3 nights. We were not sure what to expect because it was so affordable. But I have to say we were pleasantly surprised. It was like a home away from home. We were welcomed very friendly and were given tips on places to visit. We were never bothered by staff but knew where to ask if we needed any help. The chalet was a beautiful and homely little place. Unpretentious and clean. It had everything we needed and we found ourselves quite over-packed. We got to enjoy our stay and returned every night to find it had been cleaned for us with fresh flowers put on the table. All we needed to do was enjoy a relaxing bath (with almost instantly hot water) and the rest of our nights. There was a very informative map with all tourist attractions on it as well as brochures regarding activities and places to see. A wide variety of DVDs were waiting for us on the table and they even had two Bibles. We could really see the effort they put into making sure their guests have all they need for their stay, even though it is self catering. We also enjoyed beautiful sunrises every morning as well as the monkeys living outside in the trees (and they never came into the chalet, even when the windows were open). It is not a state of the art facility but we could not have asked for more. We had no problems during our stay and did not come short in any way. This is a perfect place for true nature lovers and we would love to stay over there again!"

"Thank you!!"

(South Africa) Mrs Booysen

"We experienced peace and quiet in this lovely environment! Will go again."

"The cottage was very adequate, and the grounds, amenities, and owner were fantastic! It was pure pleasure barbequing, eating in the beautiful garden, sitting on the lawn, and even just laying in bed and enjoying the view in 3 directions. We will definitely go back if we go to that area again."

The people are warm and friendly and the house was very clean and had everything we needed for the weekend. The house was cosy and it almost felt like we weren't even close to any civilization...the perfect getaway. There are wonderful sites to see in the area and it’s not even necessary to go far. Within a few kilometer radius from the house are waterfalls and God's Window just to name a few. I would recommend Wild Forest Inn to anyone and everyone. Thank you so much for showing us such a wonderful time."
