Lage: Nähe des botanischen Gartens von George und in Nähe diverser guter Restaurants (besonders die Italiener in der York Str haben es uns angetan). Ansonsten zeichnet sich George als strategisch sinnvoller Ort au,s um diverse Ausflüge in die National Parks der Garden Route (Wilderness, Knysna oder auch Plettenberg) oder in die Kleine Karoo (Oudtshorn, Kango Cave, Swartbergpass..) zu starten.

Der moderne Einrichtungsstil hat uns sehr gut gefallen und vor allem ist uns die riesige Terrasse mit den gemütlichen Möbeln in Erinnerung geblieben. Der Blick in den tropischen Garten mit dem brütenden Ibis Paar hat uns jederzeit die wunderbare Natur der Gartenroute gezeigt. Abgerundet wurde das Ganze mit einem liebevoll zubereiteten Frühstück. Und auch für Leute denen ein attraktives Preis-Leistungsverhältnis wichtig ist, kann ich diese Unterkunft vorbehaltlos empfehlen.

Ergo, wir kommen nächstes Jahr wieder! :)

The position is ideal, close to the botanical gardens and restaurants. It is also ideal to do day outings to all the other surrounding town and attractions.
