Ablutions were very modern and were enclosed in bamboo reeds which gave one the impression that you were in the country despite the fact that you are in a city. Outdoor showers were super.Staff were very friendly. Camp sites are covered and include benches and table and your own pizza oven come braai. Location also very good. Security excellent. Highly recommended."

"We really enjoyed the stay at UrbanCamp in Windhoek. The dome tent was very neat and well maintained with a double bed, crisp white linen and towels and a can be locked.  It is not spacious, but there is an outside wardrobe/locker to store luggage etc which is lockable. We were surprised to find a bar fridge, electric kettle, tea, coffee, sugar and even longlife milk,. The location is good and very close to Joe's Beer house which served a good meal in a quaint setting.  UrbanCamp is a real neat concept and very affordable. Security is good -we felt safe. The facility had a laid back feel to it, with a restaurant and bar to enjoy drinks and a pool to dip into, if needed. The only problem we had was that the staff were busy with chores and chatting directly behind our tent, when we tried to nap in the afternoon. However, I would definitely recommend staying here- you don't need any camping gear -everything is taken care of.

"I only spent a night but will definitely go back. The price is accessible for a very comfortable and spacious tent. The place is very private , even though in the middle of the city. People are very helpful and friendly. I loved the beauty on each detail, the reed walls everywhere which provide lots of privacy, there are many toilets and showers which were very warm and powerful. I didn't use the braai facilities, but there are lots of them too. There is even a small swimming pool to cool off from the dry heat of Windhoek. I definitely recommend this place if you are an outdoor person, perfect location, no need to stay closed in, even in a city."
