Farquhar Lodge is situated in central Ladysmith in a beautiful “jungle like” garden. We offer elegant ensuite rooms that are ideally suited for business executives or tourists seeking comfortable accommodation in a tranquil environment. We also offer delicious home cooked meals.

Our rooms are decorated in natural tones and have a warm welcoming atmosphere with views of our lovely garden.

In room facilities include: Free Wi-Fi, selected DSTV channels, air-conditioning, and tea and coffee facilities.

Establishment facilities include: Gymnasium, swimming pool, braai area, honesty bar, safe undercover parking with CCTV cameras. The thatched roof lapa is a perfect venue to host intimate conferences or presentations. Small office parties or functions can be enjoyed in a relaxing “out of Africa” atmosphere.

Please note:
- Children aged between 0 and 2 stay free.
- Children aged between 3 and 12 pay 50% of the sharing rate.
- No smoking in rooms as there is a fine that will apply.
- We kindly request that you do not eat in the rooms. Please make use of the facilities available in the lapa.
- Please advise on the estimated time of arrival.
- Conference facilities are available, enquire at the reception.
- No ironing in rooms, there are ironing facilities available in the laundry. Washing of laundry can be arranged at reception with the price list at the reception available from (Mondays, Wednesdays, and Friday mornings only).
- Check in time is from 14:00 till 21:00 and check out time is strictly 10:00. Should you need to check in after 21:00, it is essential that we are informed beforehand.
- If the premise is not vacated we will charge full day rates and please ensure that you hand in your keys at the reception before departure.
- No excessive noise allowed after 21:00.
- Only guests booked in at Farquhar Lodge are allowed in the premises.
- You must provide proof of membership with another gym to be able to make use of our gymnasium. Gymnasium used at own risk.
