The manager runs the whole place with great efficiency, helpfulness and enthusiasm.

The little personal touches (chocolate with the daily weather report, tea biscuits every morning, personal breakfast orders taken the day before - and served nice & warm on the day and the owner / manager personally greeting her guests at breakfast) have all made the stay that much more enjoyable.

The only criticism we have is that it does not appear as if the towels were changed daily. Some appeared to be previously used without being washed.

We will have no hesitation at all of staying at this establishment again as well as encouraging family and friends to book at La Fontaine."

The lounge area and inside dining areas were wonderfully decorated, as were the bedrooms. We had the family suite of two bedrooms with a huge ensuite between to share, which gave us added privacy and space.

Elna is a thoughtful and helpful hostess, making people feel comfortable and at ease in her home. She offered good advice about local attractions, actually making telephone calls to aid arrangements.

I would definitely recommend a stay here- and my children can vouch for the pool!
