Breakfast on the terrace was a dream-out of this world! our room was light and spacious and had everything we needed including very good ensuite. On arrival at 2pm we were made very welcome by the restaurant staff (Janine) despite being the only guests there. Our evening meal there was also was very good. "

The channel in front of the hotel was usually safe for swimming although the sea does get very rough so exercise caution. The breakfasts were great and kept us going for the day. The staff were efficient and friendly and advised on local activities. Mother and son did a sky dive at nearby Mossel Airfield. Highly recommend this hotel.

The room itself was spacious, comfortable and very clean with a large bathroom. The room had a balcony entered via a large glass sliding door and the view over the sea was breathtaking.
The Hotel had a restaurant we pre booked a meal for the first night of our stay, although the food was good the service was painfully slow. Our breakfast was buffet style and the selection of food on offer was very good.
I rate this accommodation very highly and would certainly book again."

"We enjoyed the great location of this hotel during Feb 2008. Very easy to find, and plenty of secure parking. The hotel was everything expected of a modern establishment. Check-in was welcoming, fast and efficient, as was indeed the porter service for the luggage.

The large room was nicely furnished in a modern style with a safe and all the usual 'additions' expected of a modern hotel. The views from the balcony were stunning - cliffs, lighthouse, ever changing vista of tidal patterns crashing on the rocks. Surprisingly little noise to keep one awake.

The lobby of the hotel was a welcome haven against the heat of the day, and it also had a modern, functional bar. The restaurant, where breakfast was taken, had wonderful sea and rock views. It also served evening meals if required.

We needed to use the Laundry service. We were impressed that we were able to input the items at 9.00 am, and they were already back in our room at 4.00pm, nicely presented in a box.

The reception staff were helpful in providing suggestions of a range of activities, but surprisingly lacked details such as times of local church services and local boat trips. These minor glitches were sorted out by the excellent Tourist Information Office in town.

The hotel was within walking distance of many restaurants and, for the more energetic, the Diaz museum and boat trips near the town centre. It is also a starting point for a 13km panoramic cliff walk, of which we completed 2kms. There was plenty to do in Mossel Bay.

We would certainly recommend the hotel.

The staff were all so friendly and helpful, the food fantasic. To the lovely waitress (Crystal) - please forgive me if I have spelt your name incorrectly - who served us both evenings and made sure that we had a table overlooking the ocean, many thanks.

Also many thanks to the gentleman who let me take over his office, his computer and use the internet. Stay at this hotel if you get the chance."

"Three adults stayed for one night in two rooms on a bed and breakfast basis. We had one of the rooms nearest the restaurant which was quite noisy and we feared for a decent night's sleep as this was a Friday night. By midnight all was quiet and we were woken the next morning by the sound of waves crashing on the rocks outside the hotel.

The location cannot be beaten - at breakfast we watched the vapour plume of a southern right whale cross the horizon as we ate croissants! The rooms are clean, service precise and efficient. We would have no hesitation in returning."

"excellent resort"

(Sweden) Mrs S

"The location was stunning right on the point. The view with the ocean was beautiful. It was very relaxing to listen to the waves and watching the tide. Nice room. Very good restaurant with excellent and kind staff."
