"Staying at this guest house is really unfair when you are on business as this is somewhere you want to relax and stay forever. I loved the venue and the attention to detail, decor and owner cannot be better. Michele is the most generous and lovely person. Because I had to leave very early for business, she prepared a take away breakfast of fresh fruit, muesli and yoghurt that I could enjoy later. Was extremely thoughtful and a fabulous owner. Thanks Michele, I will be back but next time to relax and enjoy the glorious views and surround."

"The rooms were very cosy with a beautiful view (private wooden deck). The guesthouse is very well located, two steps away from Longbeach.

Most of all, the owner was what you can really expect from a guesthouse : friendly and full of knowledge of the region, helping us to select and organize activities when we wished.

Excellent breakfasts also, with daily variations and homemade treats."

"Pleasant and comfortable rooms, great breakfast and attentive service.

Quick walk to the beach. Horseriding close by, and 15/20 minutes to the town of Kalk Bay and Simonstown."

"Perfect place for a getaway"

"Whether staying at Guinea Fowl House for a vacation, overnight, or for business, it is indeed a holiday in itself. From the very first correspondence, welcoming you as a guest and arranging for transport, up to the last goodbye and well wishing, my stay at Guinea Fowl House was a wonderful experience. The tiny touches to detail, such as a small memento of your stay, fresh fruit and flowers in the room, luxuries such as candles in the bathroom would make any guest feel pampered, spoilt and special. With breakfast of your choice, a beautifully furnished and decorated house and a helpful, charming hostess to boot, this is a definite "see you again" establishment."

An excellent B&B, very warmly recommended.
