Butjani Lodge is a small intimate bush retreat situated on a 650ha private Nature Reserve. The safari type tented accommodation, complimented by a landscape teaming with a wide variety of wildlife and birds, paints a picture of the Africa described by famous explorers of colonial times.

Location: Butjani Lodge is situated on the Dinokeng tourist route, 130Km from Sandton and only 75Km from Pretoria.

Accommodation: The lodge can accommodate 8 guests in 4 individual tented chalets. All chalets have ensuite bathrooms, fans, outdoor showers and decks from where the tranquility of the African bush can be absorbed.

Facilities: The décor of the lodge depicts an elegant country theme. Facilities include a lounge, covered dining area, pool and boma. Conferencing facilities are also available for small groups.

Activities: Activities include game drives, bush walks, birding, star-gazing and cycling. The lodge is also in close proximity to the historic town of Cullinan, source of the world’s largest diamond. Guided tours of the area can be arranged by prior appointment.

Further activities in the area include:
• Golf at the attractive 9–hole Cullinan Golf Course;
• Bush Spa at Ukuthula Bush Spa (20 minutes drive);
• Hot air ballooning (minimum 6 pax).

Child policy: Butjani Lodge welcomes children of all ages. Please note that every precaution will be taken to provide for your safety and that of your children throughout your stay. Guests are however reminded of the potential danger of being in a wildlife area.
